Alumni Band Scholarship 2008
The Alumni Band Scholarship is underway, one lucky senior will get $750 compliments of the Alumni Band. A copy of the application and process have been sent to all Alumni Band Members.
Alumni Band Picnic
There will be an Alumni Band Picnic on July 12, 2008. All alumni band members, current Golden Gator Memebers, band directors, family, and friends are invited to this event. It will be held at Laura S. Walker State Park from 12-6. We have an air conditioned cabin. More details will follow.
Congratulations to the Gator Football Team
Class 4A Runner-Up State Champions
The Ware County Gators played their hearts out in Memorial Stadium, unfortunately the Northside, WR Eagles defeated the Gators. After the game being tied at 7-7 going into halftime, it was clear that the Gators came to play football. In the end the Eagles came to win 20-14 over our Gators. The Gators made the Eagles work for that win; they truley gave the sold-out Ware County fans something to cheer about. The Gators are and will always be number one in the Golden Gator Band Alumni Association eyes. As the Alumni Band always say.........Gooooooooooooooooo GATORS!!!!!!
